OBJECTIVE
The purpose of this series is to describe the sonographic features of isolated torsion of the fallopian tube.
METHODS
Sonography was performed in 4 women with acute lower abdominal pain.
RESULTS
The uterus and ovaries were normal in the 4 women. The ipsilateral fallopian tube was distended with fluid. A round mass was seen close to the tube. A sonographic whirlpool sign was seen on rocking movement of the probe over the mass. Ipsilateral torsion of the fallopian tube was confirmed at surgery in all of them.
CONCLUSION
The sonographic whirlpool sign is the specific sign of tubal torsion.
目的
本系列研究的目的是描述孤立性输卵管扭转的超声特征。
方法
对4例急性下腹痛女性进行超声检查。
结果
4例女性的子宫和卵巢均正常。患侧输卵管积液扩张。在输卵管附近可见一圆形肿块。在肿块上方摆动探头时可见超声漩涡征。所有患者手术均证实为患侧输卵管扭转。
结论
超声漩涡征是输卵管扭转的特异性征象。
