Abstract

A dendritic europium complex, Eu(BCPD)(3)Phen, has been incorporated into polymethylvinylsiloxane (PMVS). Its fluorescent properties have been investigated by fluorescence emission spectra and lifetime measurements. According to the fluorescence emission spectra, the Judd-Ofelt parameters Omega(2), Omega(4) of Eu(BCPD)(3)Phen/PMVS have been calculated. The radiative decay rate A(rad), the non-radiative rates A(nrad), the lifetime tau and the luminescent quantum yield eta were analyzed also.
