We report the identification of the novel allele human leukocyte antigen-B35:02:03 that was found during confirmatory high-resolution sequence-based typing of a bone marrow donor. The B35:02:03 allele has one nucleotide change from B*35:02:01 at position 318 in exon 2 which does not result in an amino acid change (codon 82: CGC --> CGG).
