Pleomorphic adenoma (PA) is a the most frequent benign tumor of the parotid gland, although in some cases it can turn malignant (3-4%). Usually it grows slow and is removed surgically as a small tumor (average diameter 2-6 cm). Most huge PA tumors that can be found in the literature are of superficial lobe origin. In the present paper we presented a case of 38-year-old male patient with PA of parotid glad achieving 10 x 15 cm tumor and of deep lobe origin. Total parotidectomy with facial nerve preservation was chosen as a treatment. No postoperative neurological deficiencies was found and no further treatment was needed.
多形性腺瘤（PA）是腮腺最常见的良性肿瘤，不过在某些情况下它可能会恶变（3%-4%）。通常它生长缓慢，作为小肿瘤（平均直径2-6厘米）通过手术切除。文献中能找到的大多数巨大PA肿瘤起源于浅叶。在本文中，我们报告了一例38岁男性腮腺多形性腺瘤患者，肿瘤大小达10×15厘米，起源于深叶。治疗方案选择了保留面神经的全腮腺切除术。术后未发现神经功能缺损，也无需进一步治疗。
