We theoretically demonstrate a classical analog of electromagnetically induced transparency (EIT) in an acoustic structure. Each unit in the proposed structure consists of two square polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) rods with one rod rotating 45° relative to the other. Both square rods can support certain surface resonant modes respectively, which have almost identical resonant frequencies but highly different quality factors. Thus, the two resonant modes can act as radiative mode and dark mode in the analog, respectively, and the destructive interference of them results in EIT-like transmission effect in our structure.
我们从理论上证明了在声学结构中电磁诱导透明(EIT)的一种经典模拟。所提出结构中的每个单元由两根方形聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯(PMMA)棒组成,其中一根棒相对于另一根旋转45°。两根方形棒分别可以支持某些表面共振模式,它们具有几乎相同的共振频率,但品质因数却大不相同。因此,这两种共振模式在该模拟中可分别充当辐射模式和暗模式,并且它们之间的相消干涉在我们的结构中产生了类似EIT的传输效应。
