[Factors influencing tuberculosis morbidity in petroleum workers].

Tuberculosis morbidity data concerning different occupational groups of the Northern Tumen oil industry workers are given. Tuberculosis-inducing factors were found, which mainly include specific working conditions of those engaged in oil and gas industry and population migration processes caused by exploration of new oil and gas fields. Serious shortcomings in the organization of an active detection and registration of newly-diagnosed tuberculosis cases should be also taken into consideration.
