[Patients' rights in 2011].

Patients' rights have progressed thanks to pressure from associations and the introduction of new laws. They were fully recognised by the law of 4th March 2002 which confirms the existence of the individual and collective rights of users of the healthcare system, thereby laying the basis for health democracy.
