Abstract

Dr. Tessier often stated that the correction of well-established posttraumatic deformities was one of the most difficult. Yet consistently and repeatedly, he was able to achieve magnificent results especially for fractures of the orbitonasal region. The principles that he taught are highlighted in this article.
