The importance of the One Health movement to the sustainability of wildlife populations was among subjects discussed at a recent symposium organised by the Veterinary Association for Wildlife Management (VAWM). Under the theme of 'Wildlife diseases and conservation', the symposium also considered issues such as pet travel and vectorborne diseases, poisoning of predatory birds and cetacean strandings.
