Abstract
BACKGROUND
The objective of this study was to evaluate the serum PSA levels in patients presenting with enlarged prostate and to evaluate the efficiency of serum PSA to diagnose and differentiate benign and malignant enlargements.
METHODS
The authors evaluated the patients coming in surgical OPD with enlarged prostate and were advised to undergo serum PSA testing.
RESULTS
The efficiency of serum PSA to differentiate Benign and malignant lesions was 97.18% and 83.33% respectively.

背景
本研究的目的是评估前列腺肿大患者的血清前列腺特异抗原（PSA）水平，并评估血清PSA在诊断和鉴别良性与恶性前列腺肿大方面的有效性。
方法
作者对前来外科门诊、前列腺肿大且被建议进行血清PSA检测的患者进行了评估。
结果
血清PSA鉴别良性和恶性病变的有效性分别为97.18%和83.33%。
