The use of low-energy laser in combined treatment for angina of effort (functional class I and II) was found to enhance exercise tolerance, to reduce symptoms of hypodynamia, to stimulate lipid metabolism, improve microcirculation and kallikrein-kinin indices. This appears to promote positive changes in the main links of pathogenesis of coronary heart disease.
