[Preliminary results of prophylactic adjuvant chemotherapy with CISCA in bladder tumors].

Over a period of 7 years, 14 patients with cancer of the bladder received postoperative curative adjunct chemotherapy with the CISCA protocol. Follow-up ranges from 5 to 84 months. Eleven patients had complete remission, 1 had a recurrence and 2 died. The results encourage us to administer systemic adjunct chemotherapy, whenever there are histologically-proven neoplastic emboli to the lymphatics.
