In the present study, the total mitochondrial genome of a freshwater mussel Cristaria plicata (Leach) was sequenced and determined. The mitogenome is 15,710 bp in length. It consists of 13 protein-coding genes, 22 tRNA genes and 2 rRNA genes. The total base composition is: 36.49% A, 27.23% T, 23.21% C, and 13.07% G with an A+T rich feature (63.72%). These results provide useful data to study of the genetics, systematics and conservation of mussel C. plicata (Leach).
在本研究中，对淡水贻贝褶纹冠蚌（Leach）的线粒体全基因组进行了测序和测定。该线粒体基因组长度为15710bp。它由13个蛋白质编码基因、22个tRNA基因和2个rRNA基因组成。碱基总组成为：A占36.49%，T占27.23%，C占23.21%，G占13.07%，具有A+T丰富的特征（63.72%）。这些结果为褶纹冠蚌（Leach）的遗传学、系统学和保护研究提供了有用的数据。
