[Occupational stress and psychosomatic diseases in police officers].

Studies helped to identify psychosomatic features of stress-induced diseases and cardiovascular risk in police officers, in accordance with degree of emotional strain at work. The data obtained are used for complex diagnosis and treatment of stress-induced diseases and for defining prophylactic measures aimed to improve epidemiologic situation in police medical department concerned about increase in psychosomatic disorders.
