Abstract

Cu5(OH)4(H2O)2(A-α-SiW9O33)2 (1) was tested as the first copper-containing polyoxometalate catalyst for O2 production via visible light-driven water oxidation. Multiple experiments confirm that 1 is an active and dominant catalyst during water oxidation.
