[Imaging of hydatid cyst of the kidney. Reflections apropos of 35 cases].

Thirty-five patients with hydatid cysts in the kidneys have been examined with the various imaging techniques. The results with each technique are reported. The authors lay stress on the usefulness of the combined IVP and ultrasound. Computed tomography is reserved for pseudotumoral images. As far as MRI is concerned, the initial studies seem to be promising, and the studies currently in progress will define its real assets.
