[Retrograde gonadal venography in patient with bilateral varicocele; a rare venous return via Santorini's plexus].

A 12-year-old boy was referred to our clinic because of microscopic hematuria. At out patient department, bilateral varicocele was found, but testes were within normal limit. Urinalysis showed microscopic hematuria, but other laboratory data were normal. Excretion urography was normal. Retrograde gonadal venogram showed a rara venous return via Santorini's plexus and lumbar veins. After varicocelectomy, urinalysis improved. It seemed that this condition was a new spermatic vein syndrome.
