The aim of this study was to compare the cyclic fatigue resistances of nickel-titanium rotary glide path files, which are manufactured as single-file systems, under dynamic model.
Twenty ProGlider (16.02) and 20 One G (14.03) nickel-titanium glide path files were included in this study. Cyclic fatigue tests were performed with specifically manufactured dynamic cyclic testing device. The device has an artificially prepared canal with 60° curvature angle and 5-mm curvature radius. The canal inner diameter is 1.5 mm, and its curvature center is located at the coronal 5 mm from the apical. The files were randomly divided into 2 groups (n = 20): group 1, ProGlider; group 2, One G. Time to fracture was recorded, and the number of cycles to failure for each instrument was obtained. Statistical analyses were performed by using independent samples t test. The statistically significant level was set at P < .05.
The cyclic fatigue resistance of ProGlider files was found to be statistically significantly higher than that of the One G files (P < .05).
Within the limitations of the present study, it was concluded that the cyclic fatigue resistance of ProGlider, which is manufactured as single-file glide path system, is higher than that of the One G file.
本研究的目的是在动态模型下比较作为单根管锉系统制造的镍钛旋转引导通路锉的循环疲劳抗力。
本研究纳入了20支ProGlider(16.02)和20支One G(14.03)镍钛引导通路锉。使用专门制造的动态循环测试装置进行循环疲劳测试。该装置有一个人工制备的根管,弯曲角度为60°,弯曲半径为5毫米。根管内径为1.5毫米,其弯曲中心位于距根尖冠方5毫米处。将锉随机分为2组(n = 20):第1组,ProGlider;第2组,One G。记录折断时间,并获得每支器械的失效循环次数。采用独立样本t检验进行统计分析。统计学显著性水平设定为P < 0.05。
发现ProGlider锉的循环疲劳抗力在统计学上显著高于One G锉(P < 0.05)。
在本研究的局限性范围内,得出的结论是,作为单根管引导通路系统制造的ProGlider的循环疲劳抗力高于One G锉。
