A fungus, , was isolated for the first time from fruits of Chinese matrimony vine ( Mill.) in Korea. It was classified as based on the morphological characteristics and nucleotide sequence of glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate-dehydrogenase and β-tubulin. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first report of causing anthracnose of Chinese matrimony vine in Korea.
