[Bilateral synalgias].

Total pulpitis leads in most cases to unilateral synalgia. Bilateral synalgiae are considerably rarer, but theoretically possible, in which pain radiates to the non-affected half of the jaw or face. Case reports illustrate the symptomatology, cause and therapy.
