Abstract

Treatment of embryos of Paracentrotus lividus with a concentration of ZnSO which causes animalization, strongly inhibits the initiation of ribosomal RNA synthesis.The vegetalizing agent LiCl does not seem clearly to affect the synthesis of this RNA.
