Completion of the genome sequences on bacteriophage offered unprecedented opportunity for researchers to carry out related genomic studies. This review was based on the genomic sequences and provided a genomic perspective in describing the essential features of genome on bacteriophage. Based on the comparative genomics, genetic evolutionary relationship was discussed. Description of functions from the gene prediction and protein annotation provided evidence for further related studies.
噬菌体基因组序列的完成,为研究人员开展相关基因组研究提供了前所未有的机遇。本综述基于基因组序列,从基因组角度描述了噬菌体基因组的基本特征。基于比较基因组学,探讨了遗传进化关系。通过基因预测和蛋白质注释对功能进行描述,为进一步的相关研究提供了依据。
