Abstract

Fabrication of carbon films on semiconductor micro/nanocrystals improves their photocatalytic performance. However, the carbon coating can often lead to reduction in their activity because of the blocking of the reaction sites. Herein, we report the synthesis of folded-up thin carbon nanosheets on CuO cubes by surface etching, which increase the photocatalytic activity of Au/CuO 2 fold due to the enhancement in light absorption and charge separation.

在半导体微/纳晶体上制备碳膜可以提高其光催化性能。然而,由于反应位点的堵塞,碳涂层往往会导致其活性降低。在此,我们通过表面刻蚀在 CuO 立方体上合成了折叠的薄碳纳米片,由于光吸收和电荷分离的增强,使 Au/CuO 的光催化活性提高了 2 倍。
