Abstract
EC-1 (DSM 19793) was isolated from the gut of a lampryid beetle () collected in Beltsville, MD, USA, in 1983. Here, we report the complete genome sequence of this bacterium to facilitate the investigation of its biology and the comparative genomics among species.
