Abstract

Several cases have been reported of infections in immunocompromised patients. Acute leukemia is the main predisposing factor. Chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) is not usually associated with opportunistic infections. We report a case of pulmonary infection by in a patient with untreated chronic lymphocytic leukemia. Although the patient had a complete recovery, we believe that this report will alert clinicians to consider as possible cause of severe pneumonia in untreated CLL.

摘要

已有多例免疫功能低下患者感染的病例报告。急性白血病是主要的诱发因素。慢性淋巴细胞白血病（CLL）通常与机会性感染无关。我们报告一例未经治疗的慢性淋巴细胞白血病患者发生[病原体名称未给出]肺部感染的病例。尽管患者已完全康复，但我们认为本报告将提醒临床医生在未经治疗的CLL患者中考虑[病原体名称未给出]作为严重肺炎的可能病因。
