[Direct blood transfusion in the complex treatment of children with suppurative surgical infection].

The authors have shown that direct transfusion of blood is of considerable significance for the improvement of results of treatment. The patient's state quickly improved, the course of treatment was more favourable, the appearance of chronic forms was considerably less and the percentage of invalidization of children became lower.
