The inclusion of novocain blocade of the round ligament of the liver in the complex of conservative treatment of 312 patients with diseases of the gallbladder, pancreas, stomach and duodenum results in more rapid subsidence of the pain syndrome and a stable therapeutic effect. The simplicity and safety of the method allow to recommend the novocain blocade both in the hospital and in ambulatory conditions, as well as in remote and almost inaccessible localities, on ship vessels in far trips.
