The amine 8-{4-[(6-phenyl-pyridin-3-yl)meth-yl]piperazin-1-yl}-3,4-di-hydro-quinolin-2(1)-one was crystallized as the hydro-chloride salt, 4-(2-oxo-1,2,3,4-tetra-hydro-quinolin-8-yl)-1-[(6-phenyl-pyridin-3-yl)meth-yl]piperazin-1-ium chloride, CHN ·Cl (). The conformation of the organic cation is half-moon in shape enclosing the chloride anion. The piperidine ring of the 3,4-di-hydro-quinolin-2(1)-one moiety has a screw-boat conformation, while the piperazine ring has a chair conformation. In the biaryl group, the pyridine ring is inclined to the phenyl ring by 40.17 (7) and by 36.86 (8)° to the aromatic ring of the quinoline moiety. In the crystal, the cations are linked by pairwise N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds, forming inversion dimers enclosing an (8) ring motif. The Cl anion is linked to the cation by an N-H⋯Cl hydrogen bond. These units are linked by a series of C-H⋯O, C-H⋯N and C-H⋯Cl hydrogen bonds, forming layers lying parallel to the plane.
胺8-{4-[(6-苯基吡啶-3-基)甲基]哌嗪-1-基}-3,4-二氢喹啉-2(1)-酮以盐酸盐4-(2-氧代-1,2,3,4-四氢喹啉-8-基)-1-[(6-苯基吡啶-3-基)甲基]哌嗪-1-鎓氯化物(CHN·Cl)的形式结晶。有机阳离子的构象呈半月形,包围着氯离子阴离子。3,4-二氢喹啉-2(1)-酮部分的哌啶环具有扭船式构象,而哌嗪环具有椅式构象。在联芳基中,吡啶环比苯环倾斜40.17 (7)°,比喹啉部分的芳环倾斜36.86 (8)°。在晶体中,阳离子通过成对的N-H⋯O氢键相连,形成包含(8)环 motif 的反演二聚体。Cl阴离子通过N-H⋯Cl氢键与阳离子相连。这些单元通过一系列C-H⋯O、C-H⋯N和C-H⋯Cl氢键相连,形成平行于平面的层。
