Abstract

A hierarchical furball-like WO electrode material, based on stainless-steel mesh, was successfully synthesized a simple hydrothermal method. The electrode materials obtained are made from a self-assembled nanorod core and a connected/quasi-connected nano-thorn network shell, and could help utilize all the surface or near-surface regions for faradaic reaction. Furthermore, the furball-like WO special microstructure provides a more effective charge storage area, exhibiting a high specific capacitance of 8.35 F cm and excellent cycling stability (93.4% of its initial value after 10 000 cycles). These performances indicate this furball-like WO material would be a promising candidate for high performance supercapacitors.

一种基于不锈钢网的分层毛球状WO电极材料通过简单的水热法成功合成。所获得的电极材料由自组装的纳米棒核心和相连/准相连的纳米刺网络壳组成,有助于利用所有表面或近表面区域进行法拉第反应。此外,毛球状WO的特殊微观结构提供了更有效的电荷存储区域,表现出8.35 F/cm的高比电容和出色的循环稳定性(10000次循环后为其初始值的93.4%)。这些性能表明这种毛球状WO材料将是高性能超级电容器的一个有前途的候选材料。
