Helicobacter pylori resistance to amoxicillin has usually been rare. We traced resistance evolution in 474 strains over 15 years. Although minimum inhibitory concentrations MIC and MIC were similar among subgroups, the overall resistance rate (MICs, >0.125-3 mg/L) significantly increased from 4.2% in 2007-2014 to 8.9% in 2015-2021.
