Breast cancer treatment using plant-virus-based nanoparticles (PVNPs) has achieved considerable success in preclinical studies. PVNP-based breast cancer therapies include non-targeted and targeted nanoplatforms for delivery of anticancer therapeutic chemo and immune agents and cancer vaccines for activation of local and systemic antitumor immunity. Interestingly, PVNP platforms combined with other tumor immunotherapeutic options and other modalities of oncotherapy can improve tumor efficacy treatment. These applications can be achieved by encapsulation of a wide range of active ingredients and conjugating ligands for targeting immune and tumor cells. This review presents the current breast cancer treatments based on PVNP platforms.
使用基于植物病毒的纳米颗粒(PVNPs)进行乳腺癌治疗在临床前研究中已取得了相当大的成功。基于PVNP的乳腺癌治疗方法包括用于递送抗癌化疗药物和免疫药物的非靶向和靶向纳米平台,以及用于激活局部和全身抗肿瘤免疫的癌症疫苗。有趣的是,PVNP平台与其他肿瘤免疫治疗选择和其他肿瘤治疗方式相结合可以提高肿瘤治疗效果。这些应用可以通过封装多种活性成分和偶联靶向免疫细胞和肿瘤细胞的配体来实现。本文综述了基于PVNP平台的当前乳腺癌治疗方法。
