Five ascomycetous strains were isolated from dead branches and leaves of (Salicaceae) and (Oleaceae), respectively. BLAST searches with ITS sequences in GenBank suggested a high degree of similarity to . To accurately identify these strains, we further analysed their morphological characteristics of asci, ascospores, all conidiophore cells and conidia.
