Recently, radionuclide labelling fibroblast activating protein inhibitors (FAPI) is regarded as the most promising imaging tracer forvarious tumours. Here we present the imaging finding of aluminium-[F] fluoride (AlF)-labelled 1,4,7-triazacyclononane-N,N',N"-triacetic acid (AlF-NOTA-FAPI-04) and fluorine-18-fluorodeoxyglucose (F-FDG) in postoperative recurrence esophageal cancer. The results presented that imaging with AlF-NOTA-FAPI-04 showed significant improvement in detection of local recurrence and distant metastasis with higher maximum standardized uptake value (SUVmax) in the lesions compared with F-FDG.
