Abstract

sp. SSL-5 is a Mn(II)-oxidizing, perchlorate-tolerant halophilic bacterium isolated from an Australian hypersaline lake. The genome sequence contains 27 contigs, and the genome is 3.4 Mb with a GC content of 67.2%. The sequence provides information for future studies of Mn(II) oxidation and perchlorate resistance under halophilic conditions.

菌株SSL-5是一种从澳大利亚高盐湖中分离出的能氧化锰(II)、耐高氯酸盐的嗜盐细菌。其基因组序列包含27个重叠群,基因组大小为3.4兆碱基对,GC含量为67.2%。该序列为未来在嗜盐条件下对锰(II)氧化和高氯酸盐抗性的研究提供了信息。
