The main goal of this work was to develop analytical procedures for the isolation and determination of selected isothiocyanates. As an example, particularly sulforaphane from plants of the or Juss family. The applied methodology was mainly based on classical extraction methods and high-performance liquid chromatography coupled with tandem mass spectrometry. Moreover, the effect of temperature on the release of isothiocyanates from plant cells was considered. The cytotoxic activity of the obtained plant extracts against a selected cancer cell line has also been included. The results allow evaluating the usefulness of obtained plant extracts and raw sprouts regarding their content of isothiocyanates-bioactive compounds with chemopreventive properties.
这项工作的主要目标是开发用于分离和测定特定异硫氰酸酯的分析方法。例如,特别是从十字花科植物中提取萝卜硫素。所应用的方法主要基于经典提取方法以及高效液相色谱-串联质谱联用。此外,还考虑了温度对植物细胞中异硫氰酸酯释放的影响。所获得的植物提取物对选定癌细胞系的细胞毒性活性也已纳入研究范围。这些结果有助于评估所获得的植物提取物和生芽苗菜中异硫氰酸酯(具有化学预防特性的生物活性化合物)含量的实用性。
