Abstract

We present a genome assembly from an individual female (the Scalloped Oak; Arthropoda; Insecta; Lepidoptera; Geometridae). The genome sequence is 430.4 megabases in span. Most of the assembly is scaffolded into 17 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the Z and W sex chromosomes. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled and is 16.86 kilobases in length. Gene annotation of this assembly on Ensembl identified 17,741 protein coding genes.
