We present a genome assembly from an individual female (the flutter-wing fly; Arthropoda; Insecta; Diptera; Pallopteridae). The genome sequence is 415.6 megabases in span. Most of the assembly is scaffolded into 5 chromosomal pseudomolecules. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled and is 15.93 kilobases in length.
