[Problem of candidiasis in surgery].

On the basis of personal investigations and literature data the authors analyse etiopathogenesis of Candidiasis. The suppressed immune system due to administration of corticosteroids, antibiotics, immunodepressive drugs, the presence of the initial disease and operation proper are responsible for the increased amount of fungi on mucous membranes and their more frequent colonizations.
