Abstract
Two cases of right hepatic lobe resection, one due to trauma and the other to echinococcosis. Adequate support therapy can be used to control the protein, lipid and sugar metabolic changes that occur after this operation. The seriousness of the postoperative course is related to the amount of healthy tissue removed.
