The paper is concerned with the problem of disturbed visual-spatial thinking in patients with focal brain lesions. As is known, visual-spatial thinking can be disturbed in patients with lesions of the occipital, parieto-occipital and frontal lobes. However, the character of these disturbances is different. Attempts are made to examine these differences in varying localizations of the lesions. The results obtained demonstrate that disturbed visual-spatial thinking in different groups of patients is underlain by both common and specific factors.
