[Case od malignant melanoma of the choroid operated on as retinal detachment (pathology)].

Histopathological study of an eye that had been enucleated following the suspicion of malignant tumour, after an ephemeral success of an operation for retinal detachment, confirmed the presence of a malignant melanoma. The importance of diaphagnoscopy in retinal detachment cases is stressed by this observation.
