Fine needle aspiration biopsy in the diagnosis of sarcoid of the head and neck.

The use of fine needle aspiration biopsy to confirm the clinical diagnosis of six cases of sarcoidosis with palpable disease in the head and neck area is reported. The procedure was simple and inexpensive, and the interpretation of the smears and identification of typical sarcoid granulomas was easy.
