The diverticula of the duodenum, after the diverticula of columns, are most frequent the localizations of the diverticula of the gastrointestinal tract. Only a small percentage of the diverticula duodenum has got a clinical significance, and that is only when a complication occurs. In this paper 3 patients are represented, who were operatively treated because of primary diverticula duodenum followed by complications. In the first case there was a progredient inflammation of the diverticula with a warn of perforation; in the second case there was a stenosis of the duodenum and in the third one an acute bleeding. The first case was determined by a palliative procedure by excluding the duodenum from the digestive passage by resection of the stomach by the method of Billroth II. The second and third case were radically determined by preparing the duodenum according to Kocher, by preparing the diverticula, and then by its resection and stitching the duodenum diagonally in relation to its axis. The postoperative course in all three cases passed with no complications, and later results were satisfactory. The author presented 3 patients who having no serious complications, were conservatively treated by spasmolitics and anticids.
