Eccentric flap repair of urethral fistulas.

Urethral fistulas of various causes, most commonly as a complication of previous urethroplasty, may be repaired by a simple eccentric flap technique with variations and modifications of skin closure. With use of absorbable synthetic suture materials, surgical magnification and transient catheterization a high degree of success may be achieved with this method.
