[Results of 10 years of performing abortions at the Gynecologic Clinic of the Dresden Medical Academy].

Since the abortion law of March, 9th 1972, 8456 interruptions of pregnancy were performed at the Medical School up to 1981. 649 patients were treated in two steps because of the use of prostaglandins. Age, frequency of abortions, relation to previous births and socio-gynecological questions are object of investigations. The analysis is based on computerized data.
