Abstract
DNA-ligase was isolated from the cells of Streptomyces albus G by chromatography on phosphocellulose, DEAE-cellulose and oxyapatite. The enzyme was shown to be NAD-dependent and had a molecular weight of 80,000 +/- 5000.
