Abstract

Uveitis in the very young child may be a manifestation of sarcoidosis. A case of sarcoidosis with intraocular inflammation that occurred in a child 2 years 7 months old is reported. The diagnosis was supported by biopsy of uncommon bulbar conjunctival nodules. Knowledge by the ophthalmologists that this disease can occur in children younger than 5 years of age may be crucial to the establishment of proper diagnosis.

幼儿葡萄膜炎可能是结节病的一种表现。本文报告了一例发生在2岁7个月儿童身上的伴有眼内炎症的结节病病例。罕见的球结膜结节活检支持了该诊断。眼科医生了解到这种疾病可发生在5岁以下儿童身上，这对于正确诊断的建立可能至关重要。
