Abstract
The creation of palpebral folds in the upper eyelids of Orientals is a cosmetic operation requested by patients who wish to "Westernize" their eyes. The anatomy of the Oriental and Occidental eyelid is discussed. Two surgical techniques of operation are described and illustrated.
