Abstract
On the basis of an analysis of electromyographic and electroneurographic findings in patients with polyradiculoneuritis Landry - Guillain - Barré - Strohl courses of the diseases with different prognoses are found. In pure demyelinisation processes, a rapid and complete restitution can be expected. The regression of the pareses, however, will show a delayed, frequently an incomplete onset when electrophysiologically and axon loss can be proved.
