Ceroid granulomas in a tubo-ovarian cyst.

We have described a previously unreported lesion--ceroid granulomas in a tubo-ovarian cyst. We postulate that the ceroid granules in the histiocytes are derived from lipids within the foamy histiocytes which are often associated with tubo-ovarian abscesses.
